Wondering if GTA 6 Trailer 4 is on the way? Here is the short answer: not yet. As of October 30, 2026, Rockstar has not announced a fourth trailer, and the newest video is the Launch Trailer from October 15.

The last few weeks have been busy. There is a new trailer song, a huge download size, and even a fake delay post that fooled some fans. In this guide, I will sort the real news from the rumors in simple words, so you know exactly what is true about Grand Theft Auto VI right now.

Background

Grand Theft Auto VI is the next big game from Rockstar Games. It takes place in the fictional state of Leonida and brings back the city of Vice City. You follow two main characters, Jason and Lucia, who get pulled into a crime plot that spreads across the state.

The wait has been long. Trailer 1 landed on December 4, 2023, a day early after it leaked online. Trailer 2 followed on May 6, 2025. Rockstar also moved the release date two times, first to May 26, 2026 and then to November 19, 2026, which is where it stands today. Curious how big the world might be? Take a look at our GTA 6 map vs GTA 5 comparison.

Is There a GTA 6 Trailer 4?

No, there is not. Rockstar’s own trailer page lists four videos: Trailer 1, Trailer 2, An Extended Look and the Launch Trailer. None of them is called Trailer 4.

So why do people search for “Trailer 4”? Because the names are confusing. Some news sites call the Launch Trailer “the third trailer,” and the Extended Look does not fit neatly into the count. “Trailer 4” is really a fan name for whatever comes next.

GTA 6 Trailer 4 release date

There is no release date, because Rockstar has not announced one. One tech site called the Launch Trailer the final trailer before release, but that is the writer’s guess, not a promise from Rockstar. If you see a “Trailer 4 date” on social media, treat it as a rumor until it shows up on Rockstar’s official website or YouTube channel.

What does the Launch Trailer show?

Reports say it opens in a part of Leonida called The Keys and then moves through heists and a police chase. It also hints at Jason’s past as an army veteran and a surprise call from Lucia. It does not give new details about the map or story, so it works more like a hype video than a deep reveal.

GTA 6 Trailer Songs

Since there is no Trailer 4, people who search for the “GTA 6 Trailer 4 song” usually mean the newest trailer. That song is “Flower in a Hurricane” by the French duo Justice, with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. It has a pulsing, club-style sound and is out now as a single.

This one is different from the first two. Trailer 1 and Trailer 2 used older licensed songs, but “Flower in a Hurricane” was written for the game. Rockstar also confirmed that Justice is composing the game’s original score. The song is on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track soundtrack that Rockstar and Atlantic Records plan to release on November 19.

Release Date, Price and Pre-Load

The big date has not changed. Rockstar’s announcement from November 2025 is the one that still counts:

How big is the GTA 6 download?

Big. A well-known PlayStation Store tracker reports a 210 GB download on PS5, which is about a third of the usable space on a standard console. Rockstar has not confirmed this number itself, and a day-one patch could add more, so clear some room now.

What about PC?

Rockstar has not announced a PC version, and the launch date only covers PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. If you play on PC, keep an eye on our GTA 6 PC requirements page for any changes.

Community Reaction

Fans seem happy about the music most of all. The new song became a big talking point online. Other fans spent time debating how the graphics look compared with earlier trailers. And of course, the fake delay post made many people panic for a few hours before it was debunked.

GTA 6 Upcoming News

Here is what to watch over the next few weeks:

• Edge magazine, issue 430: a 16-page GTA 6 cover story with Rockstar interviews and new screenshots is out now.
• November 12: digital pre-load starts, and boxed codes go on sale.
• November 18: reviews are reportedly due, one day before launch.
• November 19: GTA 6 and its soundtrack album both arrive.
• Any new trailer: if Rockstar does share a Trailer 4, it will show up on its official website and YouTube channel first.
