It can show full-screen colours that make dead or stuck pixels easy to see, but it cannot detect them automatically. You inspect the screen and record Passed, Issue found or Not checked.

No. Browsers do not give websites access to CPU temperature sensors. The tool shows "CPU temperature unavailable in this browser" and never invents a number. To record real temperatures, run a hardware-monitor program during the CPU and GPU tests and type the peak values into the Temperature log. They then appear in your result as numbers entered by you.

No. GPU temperature, fan speed and throttling data are not available to web pages. The WebGL benchmark only measures rendering speed and smoothness, not heat.

No. A browser cannot detect most ports or test their electrical function. The tool gives you a step-by-step checklist for USB, HDMI, audio jack, card reader, Ethernet and charging port, and you mark what you tested.

Yes, partly. The keyboard test shows which keys the browser receives. Some keys, such as Fn, are handled by the laptop firmware and cannot be seen by a website, so you can mark them manually. The mouse and touchpad test checks pointer events, but it cannot prove the built-in touchpad is healthy if an external mouse is connected.

Not by itself. A browser only sees charge level and charging state. For design capacity, current capacity, health percentage, cycle count and laptop model, make your computer's own battery report with one command and add it in the Battery health check. The tool reads the report on your device and works out health as current full-charge capacity divided by design capacity. Nothing is uploaded.

No. It is a web page. Nothing is downloaded or installed on your laptop, except report files that you choose to download.

Yes, in a modern browser. Support for some features differs by browser. For example, the Battery Status API and Web Bluetooth are mostly available in Chromium-based browsers. Unsupported tests are marked NOT SUPPORTED rather than failed.

The automatic test takes about 4 minutes. You only click Start and, if your browser asks, click Allow for the camera and microphone. The optional checks (screen colours, keyboard, touchpad, ports) take a few minutes more and are up to you.

Yes, it is a useful quick check of the screen, keyboard, camera, microphone, speakers and general performance. It does not replace checking the battery report, drive health, activation or management locks, and the physical condition of the laptop in person.

No. Results stay in your browser. The network test sends a few small requests to this website to measure response time and nothing else. Saved reports use your browser storage only when you press Save.

Yes. Choose Desktop PC when you press Start, then tick the tests you want. Battery tests are left out for desktop PCs. You can also run a single test with its Run button.

A website cannot read them, but your computer can. If you add the battery report from your computer, the tool shows the model name, design capacity, current capacity, health percentage and cycle count that the report contains. Some batteries do not report a cycle count.
